莫阿爾博阿爾位於宿霧島西岸，沙丁魚群全年駐留在 Panagsama 海灘外的礁牆，浮潛也能看到；附近還有海龜與 Pescador Island 船潛。Moalboal is on the west coast of Cebu. A sardine school lives year-round on the reef wall off Panagsama Beach and can be seen even by snorkelers; turtles and boat dives at Pescador Island add variety.

概覽Overview

由 Panagsama 海灘下水，游出數十米即到礁牆，沙丁魚群在牆頂附近數米至十多米深處，形狀隨捕食者與水流變化。據報魚群約自 2000 年代後期開始長駐，原因尚未完全清楚。

全年都可潛水。約 12 月至 5 月為旱季，雨少、水清；此地面向 Tañon 海峽，對岸有 Negros 島阻擋，東北季風期間海面反而平靜。6 至 9 月進入西南季風與雨季，能見度較差，但大部分日子仍可下水。

From Panagsama Beach you swim a few tens of metres to the wall, where the sardines gather from a few metres to the mid-teens of metres deep, changing shape as predators and current move them. Reports say the school became resident around the late 2000s; the reason is not fully understood.

Diving runs all year. The dry season is roughly December to May, with little rain and clear water. The coast faces the Tanon Strait and is sheltered by Negros, so the sea is often calm during the northeast monsoon. June to September brings the southwest monsoon and rain, lowering visibility, but most days are still diveable.

潛水概況The diving

岸潛與船潛皆有，以初級為主，持開放水域潛水員證即可。Panagsama 礁牆由岸邊下水即可看到沙丁魚；Pescador Island 為船潛，四周是礁牆，並有名為 Cathedral 的洞穴，光線由頂部射入；沿岸其他礁牆有軟珊瑚、海扇與微距生物，也可夜潛。不會潛水的人浮潛也能看到沙丁魚。

Shore and boat diving, mostly beginner level; Open Water certification is enough. The sardines are reachable from shore at Panagsama. Pescador Island is a boat dive with walls all round and a cave called the Cathedral, lit from above. Other walls along the coast have soft corals, sea fans, macro life and night dives. Non-divers can see the sardines by snorkelling.

交通Getting there

由香港飛宿霧約兩個半小時，再乘車到莫阿爾博阿爾約三小時，巴士較慢。住 Panagsama 最方便，潛店、旅館與餐廳都在海邊。

Fly Hong Kong to Cebu (about 2.5 hours), then drive about 3 hours; the bus is slower. Staying at Panagsama is easiest, with dive shops, guesthouses and restaurants on the waterfront.

實用提示Tips

  1. 不要衝入魚群或用手撥動，靜待魚群在身邊或上方聚攏。
  2. 旺季早上與下午浮潛團多，選擇清早或黃昏下水較舒適，並留意頭頂船隻。
  3. 使用不傷珊瑚的防曬，不要踩踏礁石；部分潛點需繳交海洋保護區費。
  4. 最近的加壓艙位於宿霧 Mandaue，由此乘車需數小時。
  5. 水肺潛水後搭機前須等待 18 至 24 小時；只浮潛則沒有此限制。
  1. Do not chase the school or push into it; stay still and let the fish surround you.
  2. Snorkel groups are busy in the morning and afternoon in high season; early morning or dusk is quieter. Watch for boats overhead.
  3. Use reef-safe sunscreen and do not stand on the reef; some sites charge a marine reserve fee.
  4. The nearest recompression chamber is in Mandaue, Cebu, several hours by road.
  5. Wait 18-24 hours after scuba diving before flying; snorkelling alone has no such limit.
