概覽Overview

潛點分佈在西岸由北谷到恩納、本部一帶。本島的優勢在於方便而非大型生物；想看海龜與更清澈的海水，可由那霸乘船前往慶良間群島。北部本部半島與瀨底島的珊瑚保存較好；伊江島由本部港乘渡輪約 30 分鐘，每日 4 班。

主季為 6 至 10 月，4、5、11 月亦可前往。夏季水溫達 28–29°C，南風季節西岸海面平靜；5 月中至 6 月底為梅雨期；7 至 10 月為颱風季，一個颱風經過停船兩三天屬常見，行程需預留後備日。

Sites spread along the west coast from Chatan to Onna and Motobu. The draw is convenience rather than big animals; for more turtles and clearer water, take a boat from Naha to the Kerama Islands. Coral is in better shape around the Motobu Peninsula and Sesoko Island in the north. Ie Island is about 30 minutes by ferry from Motobu port, with 4 sailings a day.

The main season is June to October, with April, May and November also workable. Summer water reaches 28-29°C and the west coast is calm in the southerly season. The rainy season runs from mid-May to late June, and July to October is typhoon season; a passing storm often stops boats for two or three days, so keep spare days.

潛水概況The diving

岸潛與船潛皆有，新手即可參加。真榮田岬青之洞窟全長約 35 米、最深約 5 至 10 米，洞內一直看得到出口，並非真正的洞穴潛水；北谷砂邊由防波堤梯級下水，適合夜潛與微距；萬座為西岸 drop-off，屬中級至上級；USS Emmons 沉船船頂約 34 米、海底約 45 米，屬技術潛水範圍，一般使用高氧空氣或減壓計劃。

Shore and boat diving, open to beginners. The Blue Cave at Cape Maeda is about 35 m long and about 5-10 m deep, and the exit stays in view, so it is not true cave diving. Sunabe in Chatan is entered by steps on the sea wall and is good for night and macro dives. Manza is a west-coast drop-off for intermediate to advanced divers. The USS Emmons wreck sits with its top at about 34 m and the seabed at about 45 m; it is a technical dive, usually done on nitrox or with a decompression plan.

交通Getting there

由香港直飛那霸約 2.5 小時，航班多。潛點分散、公共交通不便，最好租車；香港駕照需配合國際駕照，日本與香港同樣靠左行駛。可住那霸市區、北谷或恩納村。

Direct flights from Hong Kong to Naha take about 2.5 hours and are frequent. Sites are spread out and public transport is limited, so rent a car; a Hong Kong licence needs an International Driving Permit, and Japan drives on the left like Hong Kong. Stay in Naha, Chatan or Onna.

實用提示Tips

  1. 青之洞窟上午十點至中午最擠，7、8 月需提早數天預約；想拍照可選平日早上八點多。
  2. 7 至 10 月出發前留意颱風路徑，選購可改期的機票。
  3. 日本潛店通常要求出示潛水證與潛水日誌；自行岸潛建議攜帶 SMB 與潛水電腦。
  4. 沖繩離島的減壓病個案多數空運到本島治療；出事先吸純氧，由潛店或 119 安排醫院。
  5. 由那霸搭機回港，最後一潛與登機之間需預留足夠時間。
  1. The Blue Cave is busiest from 10 a.m. to noon; in July and August book a few days ahead. For photos, go on a weekday around 8 a.m.
  2. From July to October, check typhoon tracks before you leave and book changeable flights.
  3. Japanese dive shops usually ask to see your certification card and logbook. Carry an SMB and a dive computer if you shore dive on your own.
  4. Decompression cases from Okinawa's outer islands are usually flown to the main island for treatment. Breathe pure oxygen first and let the shop or 119 arrange the hospital.
  5. Leave enough time between your last dive and the flight home from Naha.
