A paper in the Indonesian Journal of Marine Sciences says Indonoor sank on the reef slope off Kemujan Island in 1960, and Wikivoyage describes a coal ship off Kemujan that sank in 1960, used in an Indonesia-Norway coal-carrying cooperation. Good News from Indonesia (2015) calls her a coal carrier belonging to the Dutch East Indies government that sank about 60 years earlier, after the captain mistook the Karimunjawa islands for the mainland coast and she grounded in the shallows. The owner, the year and the cause cannot be reconciled from these sources.

Wikivoyage puts the wreck about 20 minutes by boat from Kemujan Island. The iron hull and wreckage are now covered in live coral. Researchers surveyed echinoderms on 4 sections of the wreck in May-June 2005 and September 2006 using a modified line-transect and quadrat method, recording 12 species in 2005 and 13 in 2006, including sea stars, feather stars, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. No source that could be opened gives the wreck's depth, so this page does not estimate one.
